Birth pack
The New birth pack contains all the information you require for you and your new baby.
Between days 10 and 14 after your baby has been born you will be visited by Health Visitor or Community Public health nurse to carry out a new birth visit.
You will receive an appointment letter.
The purpose of this visit is to complete a full family assessment to identify and act on any needs identified and promote health and wellbeing.
Your baby will be weighed and assessed. Your Health Visitor will provide you with advice and their contact details should you require support.
