Our promise at Harmony House, is to provide our patients, including those living with dementia, with personally tailored support and rehabilitation that meets their individual needs, whatever they might be. Our service is provided by highly-trained staff who are committed to making even the shortest of stays a positive experience. We encourage people staying with us to take full advantage of the rehabilitation and social activities we provide, and to see their time with us as a chance to meet new people and try new activities.

Our location next to ourZone in Pattens Lane, Rochester, enables our patients to use the facilities within the ourZone centre if appropriate to the patients' needs. These facilities at ourZone have recently been refurbished and include a gym, an IT suite, hairdresser and many more, together with expert support to make best use of them.

To ensure we continue to improve and make best use of modern technology to support our patients, we are exploring the use of telecare systems to support people living with dementia. The use of telecare (technologies such as remote monitoring and emergency alarms), allows our patients to become more independent whilst assuring us that they are safe and well.

Access to the service is via referral from a healthcare professional.

We are one of ten partners across the UK and Europe developing a new and innovative model of enablement, empowerment and integration to provide care for people living with dementia.
