Little Chefs

Our free fun-filled cooking groups for children aged 2-4 years and their grown ups.

Gain confidence in your cooking skills and involving children in preparing food.

Suitable for children with a range of special needs. The sensory is available to book for sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Please contact the office for full availability and room usage guidelines. There is no charge, but donations are welcome.

Sensory room is available to book for just £4 a session!

The room is for children aged 0-5 years and their parents/carers to enjoy.

You can have a maximum of 4 children + 4 adults in the room at any one time.

Sessions are 45 minutes long and bookable on the hour. Please note that the sensory room is closed everyday between 12pm – 1pm.

  • Monday – Friday 9.00am – 6.00pm (last booking)
  • Saturday 9.00am – 3.00pm (last booking)
  • Sunday 10.00am – 2.00pm (last booking)

Medway Sport

Multi Sport Club

Join our friendly multi-sport disability club at Medway Park. Whatever your ability or level of disability, our coaches will get your active. Sports include wheelchair tennis, badminton, table tennis, netball, new age kurling, boccia, and more.

Every Wednesday 5.30pm to 7pm. £3 per session (first session free, no charge for parent/carer).

Fun Disability Swim Session

A brand new fun and friendly swimming session in the Hydrotherapy Pool at Strood Leisure Centre. Whatever your swimming ability or level of disability, the warm water will help with mobility and perfect environment to get you active. Sports include; water basketball, water volleyball, water polo, relay races, sinkers, hoops or just a general splash around in a friendly environment.

Every Thursday 5.30pm to 6.30pm. £3 per session (parent/carer goes free)

Extra sessions on Monday 4pm to 5pm throughout School Holidays – Monday 22nd July, Monday 29th July, Monday 5th August, Monday 12th August, Monday 19th August & Monday 2nd September only.

Squirrells riding school are able to accommodate children with a physical disability if they are able to use a mount box to climb onto the horse.

They welcome children with ASD and special needs.

Hydrotherapy sessions for ASD children, every Thursday

Hydrotherapy is recommended for children with ASD by our physiotherapist as this helps the child with physical exercise, can be calming and make friends and have fun.

Strive PE and Sport

Toddler Shake and Boogie

Toddlers are naturally musical and studies have shown that babies absorb music even while in the womb. Before they learn to speak, children learn about language, rhythm and sound. It helps their language development and physical skills.

This energetic and fun-packed activity session offers rhymes, songs and movement for pre-schoolers. Musical instruments, scarves and parachutes are often included.

There is no minimum age.
