Medway Community Healthcare CIC (MCH) is delighted to announce the appointment of Bruce Potter as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. Bruce will join the Medway based social enterprise from 1 August 2021, following the end of current Chair, Antony Kildare’s, successful four year term

Working with the Managing Director, Board and Executive Team, Bruce will provide effective leadership to MCH to ensure that it continues to flourish as a provider of high quality health and care services to the patients and communities it serves.

Bruce has a strong legal background, having worked with MCH in this capacity from its early days, he knows MCH well and has seen them grow over its time as a social enterprise. Bruce also has extensive experience supporting NHS organisations implement innovative solutions and pathways, including most recently working with NHSEI on the Covid vaccine programme nationally.

Bruce also has extensive leadership experience, having been Chair in his last role for 9 years, and is now looking for a new leadership challenge that makes a direct contribution to healthcare delivery in Medway.

The appointment process was led by the MCH Board of Directors. Martin Riley, Managing Director said: “We would like to offer Bruce a warm welcome to MCH. He brings a wealth of experience in leadership and has contributed to many health programmes, including supporting NHSEI with the Covid Vaccine programme nationally.”

Bruce is excited about his appointment and looking forward to a new challenge, he says:
