Update: 17 January 2025
We are now in the Recovery phase of our IT incident but continue to work in business continuity across the organisation. We have approximately 40% of staff safely back online, with the number increasing every day. Clinical teams all have admin contacts with access to patient care systems. At this time, we are unable to provide an end date but will provide further updates as we progress.
Throughout the incident, all of our services have remained open and every effort has been made to minimise disruption for patients and to avoid additional waiting times. We would like to thank all those who use our services for their patience and support.
Access to some systems remains limited. This is to ensure that we re-connect safely and follow all appropriate security steps. Rest assured that we are only taking the time required to get MCH fully back online in the safest way possible; implementing lessons learned to do all we can to prevent this happening to us in the future. Our primary objective is to get staff back online safely with access to relevant systems.
