We are a team of qualified occupational therapists and technical instructors with specialist interests and knowledge in all activities of daily living. We work with children who have difficulties with, for example; fine motor skills, visual perceptual skills and sensory processing. We work across several clinical sites and will see your child for assessment and treatment at one of these.

We work with children who have a known diagnosis, chromosomal, metabolic or genetic disorder, inborn or acquired disorders or neurological anomalies resulting in long term complex needs or disability.

Pre-school children who are presenting with a developmental delay or disorder in more than one domain. ASQ results or a developmental profile should be included with the referral where possible.

Inital appointment - carried out by a qualified occupational therapist. This can take up to 1 hour and involves a case history taken from yourself and a range of assessments carried out with your child and you in the session.

Therapy intervention - carried out by our specialist team including occupational therapy technicians. Whenever required, we do joint sessions with Physiotherapist/Speech and Language Therapist/Dietitian to provide a holistic, multidisciplinary therapy. Each session can be up to 45 mins dependent on the individual child. During this session strategies will be demonstrated with you and your child to target specific areas of difficulty.
