Booking your appointment
The majority of our patients are referred to physiotherapy by their GP. Following referral, we will contact you to arrange an appointment. We aim to see patients with urgent needs within ten days, and all patients within six weeks. You may be referred to us by a referral your GP or consultant. Alternatively your GP may use choose and book.
E - referral
If you are referred to us using choose and book you will be provided with a unique booking reference number (URBN) by your GP surgery. Simply call our team on 0300 123 3444 to complete your referral. Your GP will then send us your referral letter and we will be in touch to arrange an appointment. We aim to see patients with urgent needs within ten days, and all patients within six weeks.
When you arrive
When you arrive at your appointment you will need to check in at the MCH House reception. At all other clinics you will need to also report to the reception desk and let them know you have arrived. Your physiotherapist will then come to meet you in the waiting area and take you to the consultation room.

After your appointment
Following your appointment you may be invited to join one of our rehabilitation classes, complete some home exercises or book another appointment. You may also like to look at our self help page for further advice.
