Recent news and wellbeing

The last few weeks have seen an increase in intimidating and abusive messaging and activity across the country; and in a world of social media and ‘always on’ news, we know that for many people this feels overwhelming.  

This type of behaviour and language is unacceptable and will not be tolerated at MCH or across the wider NHS. The care and treatment we provide is fair, equitable, compassionate and representative of the people we serve. We do not tolerate racism or abusive and inappropriate behaviour towards our patients or staff. 

Please, be kind, mindful of your language and behaviour, and be respectful and compassionate of all beliefs and needs.
