Change to MedOCC and prescriptions

Home »
MedOCC is no longer able to provide repeat prescriptions for medications that patients have run out of. Such requests now need to be made via 111 online, which is available 24/7. Please Google “111 online prescription” to access the service. The only exceptions to this are for patients who are unregistered or if the medication required includes a Controlled Drug. In such instances, we are allowed to provide the full list of medications required, but for a strict maximum of seven days’ supply.
In addition, MedOCC is also unable to prescribe any items that can be obtained “over the counter” without a prescription. In these cases, you will be advised to purchase them directly from a pharmacy. This includes basic painkillers, antihistamines, emollient creams, and baby milk; among others.
