Health visitors in Medway

The NHS Health Visitor Implementation Plan 2011-2011 – A Call to Action outlines the national plan to develop health visiting services and increase the national number of health visitors by 4,200 by 2015.

In Medway, this will mean an additional 27 health visitors working to support local parents and children from birth to school age.

Medway Community Healthcare has opportunities for student and qualified health visitors now – join us and be part of an exciting time full of new possibilities.

Interested? See here for details of current health visitor opportunities or contact the health visiting team by email to find out more.

Central to the plan is the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, which provides support for families and will further develop existing strong partnerships with children's centres and other local services.  Read more >
