Work for us

Supporting the delivery of excellent healthcare through our people.

Medway Community Healthcare (MCH) is an independent Community Interest Company, co-owned by our employees. As a social enterprise, we are a for-better-profit organisation and we reinvest any surplus back into our health and care services and the local community.

We have a diverse workforce offering varied and challenging roles in nursing, allied health professions, clinical support, medical and dental, administration and clerical and estates. We are committed to ensuring staff are recognised and valued for their work. We offer a wide range of staff benefits and, exciting career opportunities, no matter what your skills and qualifications.

We are proud to have won a number of awards in recognition of the high quality care and support we provide.

Being a social enterprise makes us different because:

  • Our staff have a say in developing our business plans for the future;
  • our patients, our staff and members of the local community have a say in designing how we provide our services;
  • we are flexible and able to adapt to meet the changing needs of the people we care for; and
  • we are committed to delivering added social value and wider benefits for our communities alongside our high quality health and social care services.

Our structures and processes, including our elected members forum and shareholding, enable staff to feel involved, empowered, able to influence and allow for a greater understanding of the whole organisation.

Our aim is to create an environment where you can apply your skills and qualities to improve patient care and share in the success of the organisation as a whole.

So, if you want to be part of an award winning, dynamic and ambitious social enterprise with a ‘Good’ CQC rating, we look forward to receiving your application.
