MCH podiatry service provides a specialist diabetes podiatry service in our Foot Clinic at Medway Foundation Trust. We provide NHS podiatry care for Adults who have diabetes with serious lower limb complications. The specialist diabetes podiatry service at the Peter Simmons Diabetes Centre is for patients with diabetes who have an active foot wound or suspected/active Charcot foot. Referral is usually electronically via GP or Health Care Professional.
The inpatient care is provided across Medway Foundation Trust wards for all patients and is accessed electronically by the ward staff.

We no longer provide a community NHS podiatry service. If you require any other type of NHS podiatric service you will need to contact your GP requesting a referral to your local podiatry service or if you live in the Medway area you can contact Kent Community Healthcare NHS Trust by emailing kentchft.podiatrynorthkent@nhs.net or telephone on 0300 1236756 option 5.
