Our standards

We are proud of the professionalism and high quality standards we achieve in delivering health and social care to the communities we serve.

To ensure that we continue to meet this high standard we maintain regular reviews and evaluation of our achievements. Our organisational values, developed in consultation with staff and stakeholders, supports and underpins our standards. Every team in the organisation, both clinical and non-clinical, have embedded these values with a team pledge, which outlines their shared aims and the standards they aim to provide to patients, carers and service users.

Our quality

We continue to make improvements in delivering high quality community health care for local people. Our annual quality account outlines our progress and takes a look forward to how we will continue to do this in the coming year.

Francis Report

The tragic events identified in the Francis Report involved failures by individuals, providers and regulators. We have worked with people we provide care to and their families, staff, other providers and commissioners to ensure the recommendations within the Francis Report, the Berwick Reportand Hard Truths 1&2 have been considered to ensure the care of people is our first concern, treating them as individuals and respecting their dignity.

High quality care is at the centre of all we do as we continue to develop services that enable us to care for people in the community and support people in their homes by using new technology, empowering our staff and reviewing how we do things.
