It’s all ‘good’ for local community health provider

Local community healthcare provider MCH achieved an overall ‘good’ rating following an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in March, of services registered at Amherst Court in Chatham (intermediate care and stroke services) and MCH House in Gillingham (community services for adults, young people, children and families).

Combined with the organisation’s existing 'good' ratings for Darland House, MedOCC and the Wisdom Hospice, they continue to demonstrate a commitment to delivering high quality care.

Managing director, Martin Riley, said: Our 'good' rating is due to the continued hard work and commitment by our staff, to deliver high quality, patient-centred care. The inspection team particularly noted the "culture of overwhelming staff pride in their work and desire to provide a service with adults, children, young people and their families at the centre."

Thank you to our staff, patients, stakeholders and partners for your continued support.
