Our promise at Harmony House, is to provide our guests with personally tailored support that meets their individual needs, whatever they might be. Our guesthouse is run by highly-trained staff who are committed to making even the shortest of stays a positive experience. We encourage people staying with us to take full advantage of the social activities we provide, and to see their time with us as a chance to meet new people and try new activities.
Our location next to ourZone in Patterns Lane, Rochester, enables our guests to use the facilities within the ourZone centre at a subsidised price. These facilities have recently been refurbished and include a gym, an IT suite, hairdresser and many more, together with expert support to make best use of them. If you sign up and become a member of ourZone, you can continue to use these additional facilities even when you aren’t staying at the Guesthouse.
To ensure we continue to improve and make best use of modern technology to support our guests, we are exploring the use of telecare systems to support people living with dementia. The use of telecare (technologies such as remote monitoring and emergency alarms) through Canary Care, allow our guests to live independently whilst assuring us that they are safe and well.
We have rooms all with TV, some rooms have wet rooms, others have ensuite toilet and sinks. All rooms have lots of natural light and dementia friendly furniture as you see above with the glass fronted access panels.
We take people from one night to two weeks for respite care.
Within easy reach of both the M2 and M20 making access to Harmony House from anywhere in Kent and beyond. Close to historic Rochester and with local facilities nearby such as hairdressers, pharmacist and a local public house.
